Fabric

The fabric of an upholstered piece is the most visible sign of quality and style. Upholstery fabric is also the part most likely to show wear and soil. Our focus is durability, cleanability, and resistance to soil and fading.

Our fabrics come from some of the world’s leading weaving mills, mainly from Italy.

Each fabric passes the 90.000 Martindale Method. Our suppliers and their sub-suppliers have all confirmed that they have fulfilled their obligations according to REACH (REACH is the European Community Regulation on chemicals and their safe use). All textiles are designed for use in public, commercial and private spaces.

Frame

All of our furniture frames are made from durable solid beech tree, which grow in the nearby forest areas of Lolland-Falster in the South of Denmark.

The durable beech wood is quite hard and has a fine dense wood structure. Another great aspect of Beech wood is that it does not splinter. All frames are locally produced, built to last and have been tested through decades. 

Foam

There are many different types of upholstery foam, which vary in quality. A quality, high density foam will not break apart or cause clumps. Choosing the highest density foam will improve the comfort level, appearance, and life of the furniture.

We only use top quality upholstery foam with a density of 38 kg./m3. 

All locally produced and OEKO-certified.
